Day 1DurbanThe beachfront of Durban is a fun playground, with an aquarium, casino, skate and snake park.
Days 2-3Wild CoastOne of South Africa's most unspoilt areas, the Wild Coast is a truly magical destination where waterfalls rush straight into the sea. Spend time trekking through ancient yellow wood forests or simply relax and get back to nature.
Days 4-5HogsbackThe calls of colourful parrots and louries form the soundtrack to hikes in Hogsback's indigenous forests.
Day 6Addo Elephant National ParkOnce an elephant sanctuary, Addo Elephant National Park is now home to the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos. Be careful where you tread here - this is also the exclusive domain of the fascinating flightless dung beetle.
Days 7-9The Garden RouteWith old growth forests, superb white beaches and a range of optional adrenaline-packed activities, the gorgeous Garden Route is sure to thrill. Visit Tsitsikamma National Park, picturesque Kynsna and the white beaches of Plettenberg Bay.
Day 10OudtshoornSee impressive stalagtites and stalagmites decorating caverns at the Cango Caves.
Day 11HermanusThe heart of the whale route, seaside Hermanus offers the finest land-based whale watching in the world. Talk to the Whale Crier to find out more about these mysterious giants of the deep or zoom in with the telescopes along the Old Harbour.
Days 12-13Cape TownDiscover Cape Town and travel to Cape Point to see the merging of the mighty Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
